Cameron Grimes def. Solo Sikoa to retain the NXT North American Title
Cameron Grimes was in for a fight in his first North American Title defense as Solo Sikoa looked to end the match early with a Samoan Drop. The two Superstars traded blows in the center of the ring as they felt each other out before a huge kick and a somersault splash off the ring apron from Grimes took Sikoa off his feet.
The North American Champion withstood a burst of strength by Sikoa and continued to roll behind a huricanrana and a suplex for a nearfall, but The Street Champion struck back with a running splash in the corner. As Sikoa climbed to the top rope for a splash, Trick Williams ran to ringside and pulled him off the turbuckle only to eat a superkick before Sikoa flattened Williams with a splash. Kai slipped out of the attempted submission and stormed back with a Scorpion Kick and a running kick in the corner, but Rose once again rallied with a devastating spinebuster.
Following a quick back-and-forth, Kai lined up to deliver a kick to Rose in the corner, but Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne climbed up on the apron to distract her and the ref. Kai knocked Jayne for a loop with a kick, but as she turned around Rose caught her with a running knee to retain her title.
