Cruz Del Toro: Bio
One of the world’s fastest Superstars and most spectacular aerial artists, Cruz Del Toro keeps opponents on their toes by darting around the ring like a pinball bouncing off bumpers.
Following in the footsteps of his idol, WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, Del Toro established himself in Mexico’s tradition-rich lucha libre scene before attaining Superstardom under the WWE banner. He first gained the attention of the WWE Universe with an impressive showing during the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic. The performance opened eyes and earned Del Toro a spot on the NXT roster, where he mixed it up with NXT's toughest competitors.
Though Del Toro was no stranger to leaving audiences in awe of his in-ring performances, he nevertheless seemed to have some difficulty establishing himself in NXT, but that all changed when he was abducted. You read that correctly. After being kidnapped, Del Toro pledged his allegiance to the charismatic Santos Escobar, who took Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde under his wing to form the dominant Legado del Fantasma.
Del Toro soon would reemerge in the squared circle alongside a returning Zelina Vega, Escobar and Joaquin Wilde of Legado del Fantasmaon on the Oct. 7 season premiere of SmackDown. Together, the faction would attack Hit Row and declare that the blue brand was theirs. And after a couple of matches featuring Escobar and the legendary Rey Mysterio, the Legado quartet linked up with The Master of the 619 to bring back The LWO.
Capable of stealing the show on any given night, Del Toro remains among the brightest young prospects in all of WWE.
