SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair ended in a No Contest after Sasha Banks attacked both Superstars

SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair ended in a No Contest after Sasha Banks attacked both Superstars

Bianca Belair was seemingly closing in on a win during her SmackDown Women’s Title Match against Becky Lynch at WWE Extreme Rules, but a returning Sasha Banks made one thing clear: It’s Boss Time.

Belair used her athleticism to her advantage in the early moments of the match until Becky caught her mid-leap and slammed her into the canvas.

The Man continued to wear down her challenger, using Belair’s long braid to keep control while telling the WWE Universe to keep their mouths shut. But The EST of WWE remained resilient in the face of adversity, battling back and powering the champion up for a delayed vertical suplex. Belair’s display of immense strength continued, but it was still not enough to keep The Man down, visibly frustrating the challenger.

Lynch fought back by slipping out of Belair’s grasp and locking on the Dis-arm-her. Belair got free and looked to be on the verge of victory with Lynch in position for the K.O.D. when Banks rushed to the ring and ambushed the challenger. But Belair was not the only one to feel the wrath of the returning Banks, as Lynch attacked The Man, too.

The Boss left WWE Extreme Rules with a message for both competitors: “I’ll see both of you this Friday.”
