DALLAS — The Kickoff Match at WWE TLC 2016 certainly got the crowd at the American Airlines Center hyped, as The Hype Bros, American Alpha & Apollo Crews bested Curt Hawkins, The Ascension & The Vaudevillains in a wild 10-man tag team throwdown.

After an exchange with Crews, the WWE Universe was nearly treated to a head-on collision between former WWE Tag Team Champions Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, but the latter evaded Long Island Iced Z. It didn’t take long for the bout to break down into a chaotic fray, as all 10 Superstars took turns hurling each other to the arena floor before squaring off in the center of the ring.
When the dust settled, The Ascension, The Vaudevillains & Hawkins had Chad Gable trapped in their half of the ring. The Olympian took the brunt of the beating from all five of his opponents, but persevered and tagged in Jason Jordan. At the climax of another Pier Six brawl, American Alpha emerged with the upper hand and connected with Grand Amplitude on Simon Gotch, getting the three-count and kicking off WWE TLC in impressive fashion!
