During NXT's tour of the United Kingdom, General Manager William Regal visits Pleasure Beach, in Blackpool, the place where his career first took off.
Regal is joined by longtime friends Frankie Sloan and Performance Center coach Robbie Brookside.
Don't let its modest facade fool you. Pleasure Beach hosted some of the U.K.'s finest grapplers under the banner of Bobby Barron's World Wild Wrestling Promotions.
Regal considers Barron "the unsung hero" of sports-entertainment.
"Bobby Barron was the one fellow who would give me a chance when no one else would," Brookside once told WWE.com.
Back in the day, Superstars at Pleasure Beach welcomed all comers from the audience. If the audience member lasted three minutes, he was paid 50 pounds.
Today, Brookside and Regal help shape the Superstars of Tomorrow in NXT, while Sloan remains influential in the U.K. wrestling scene.
