With NXT Champion Bron Breakker by his side, Tommaso Ciampa was able to exorcise his demons against The Dirty Dawgs for last week's surprise attack, pinning Dolph Ziggler following a wild tag team match to kick off the night.

Ciampa & Breakker jumped the duo before the bell and combining for an assisted spinebuster once action got inside the ring.

The Dirty Dawgs used some dirty tricks to take control, dumping Breakker into the crowd and picking apart The Blackheart. With the crowd cheering him on, the NXT Champion inserted himself back into the match, tossing Ziggler and Roode around the ring with a pair of belly-to-belly suplexes.

Breakker nearly knocked The Showoff out of his boots with a monstrous Spear before lifting Ziggler onto his shoulders for a tandem bulldog off the top ropes that yielded a near-fall. Ciampa finished the job moments later with a Fairytale Ending on Ziggler for the win.

Pirotta laid waste to Kai until Choo dove in to break up a pin at the last second. Jade finally managed to slip away from the duo to tag in a revived Gonzalez, who proceeded to lay waste to Feroz, catching her in midair for a fallaway slam and delivering a massive Chingona Bomb. After a swift boot dealt with an interfering Leon, Gonzalez grabbed her tag team partner and powerbombed Jade onto Feroz for the pin.

Carmelo Hayes def. Pete Dunne in an NXT North American Championship Match

Carmelo Hayes seemingly backed up his claims of being "The A-Champion" of NXT after dispatching Pete Dunne, with a little help from his friend Trick Williams, to retain the North American Championship.

The two Superstars put on a clinic for the NXT faithful, going blow-for-blow until an X-Plex gave Dunne the upper hand. With Hayes and Dunne trading blows, "The A-Champ" dropped The BruiserWeight with a DDT on the apron, pummeling Dunne with forearms that only seemed to fire up "The Baddest Man in NXT."

After surviving one Bitter End, Hayes reversed a second attempt and climbed to the top rope, where he was caught by Dunne. Luckily for Hayes, Williams hopped on the apron to draw the attention of Dunne but paid for the distraction by having his fingers snapped. The momentary lapse in judgement allowed Hayes to push Dunne off the top ropes and deliver a leg drop to remain the North American Champion.

Reveling in his title defense, Hayes proclaimed his greatness and laid down the gauntlet for Stand & Deliver, stating he would defend the North American Championship the same way it was introduced: in a Ladder Match.
