After a wild conclusion to NXT, Triple H joined ESPN’s “Get Up” this morning to deliver a major challenge for NXT TakeOver XXX. The 14-time World Champion extended an invitation for Pat McAfee to face Adam Cole in the ring during the August 22 event.

The NFL Pro Bowler and the longest-reigning NXT Champion have been locked in a heated war of words, but they appeared to reach a truce before last night’s edition of the black-and-gold brand. The peace didn’t last long, as an incensed Cole confronted McAfee on commentary, and the two had to be separated by officials. McAfee sent the final brutal message, however, as the man who made his career with his right foot delivered an earth-shattering punt to Cole before exiting up the ramp.
