A monumental reveal came in the midst of a two-day NXT UK event being taped as part of the upcoming NXT UK series.

A feeling of excitement filled the Plymouth Pavilions in the United Kingdom Sunday night as WWE NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint and COO Triple H emerged to introduce the new NXT UK Tag Team Championships. 

The monumental reveal came in the midst of a two-day NXT UK event being taped as part of the upcoming NXT UK series, premiering this Wednesday at 3 ET / 12 PT on the award-winning WWE Network. Although the inaugural titleholders have yet to be decided, it is clear that a gauntlet has been thrown down for the top tandems in the U.K. to chase these new prizes. 

The groundbreaking show will feature the greatest male, female and tag team competitors from the United Kingdom and Ireland including the likes of WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne, Mark Andrews, Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm, Tyler Bate, Trent Seven and Wolfgang. Without question, this most-recent unveiling will ignite a firestorm of competition in the weeks and months to come.
