ORLANDO, Fla. — Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss have the physiques, charisma and natural talent most could only dream of, but despite all their greatness, they can’t seem to figure out The Street Profits.
Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins picked up their second straight victory over the pairing of Sabbatelli & Moss in a classic tag team showdown.
Sabbatelli & Moss nearly picked up the win, but the referee caught Moss trying to hold down the legs of Dawkins on the pinfall. Ford claimed victory for The Street Profits after hitting a picture-perfect Frog Splash on Sabbatelli.
Will another victory for The Street Profits put this fierce rivalry between two of NXT’s up-and-coming tag teams to rest? Or will this add fuel to the fire of their heated conflict?
Kairi Sane and Peyton Royce’s dislike for one another was on full display in this knockdown, drag-out fight.
The Pirate Princess and one-half of The Iconic Duo squared off in a hard-hitting battle that ended with Sane spearing Billie Kay off the ring apron before delivering her Insane Elbow into Royce for the victory.
Trent Seven & Tyler Bate took issue with the way WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne left fellow U.K. competitor Wolfgang out to dry a few weeks ago when Undisputed ERA attacked both men. As a result, they challenged Dunne to a tag team contest, assuming Dunne could find someone to team with him.
Dunne managed to convince Mark Andrews to fight on his side with the agreement that if they won, Andrews would get a WWE United Kingdom Title opportunity.
The resulting main event tag team bout was a five-star showdown that had the NXT Universe in awe. The teams took turns pulling off maneuvers that were previously unimaginable.
After a chaotic back-and-forth, Bate took control of the contest, delivering a Tyler Driver ’97 on the Bruiserweight for the victory.
After the match, Dunne’s callousness came out in full force, as he attacked his own tag team partner from behind, leaving him laid out in the middle of the ring.
