The edge-of-your-seat battle pitted Murphy against his longtime rival Mustafa Ali in a match that brought the WWE Universe to their feet, a jaw-dropping showcase of the Cruiserweight division.

With The Heart of WWE 205 Live vanquished for now, who will be the next Superstar to rise to the challenge and face the Australian Superstar? Cedric Alexander is still owed a rematch from WWE Super Show-Down and has recently broken his slump and returned to his winning ways following a victory last week against Lio Rush. However, in the spirit of providing the highest level of competition, WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick may want to see The Soul of WWE 205 Live win a few more matches before allowing him to return to the championship conversation.

What of Murphy’s training partner Tony Nese? The Premier Athlete pinned Alexander two weeks in a row before falling to Ali in a bout that could have presented Nese with a title opportunity. However, Ali is not one to lay back in defeat and could very well make his way back to contention and earn another opportunity to challenge Murphy.
