Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch def. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair
Big Time Becks was true to her namesake, as Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defeated SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair opened Survivor Series with an instant classic.
The former friends turned bitter rivals blitzed one another at the opening bell as Flair went for the Natural Selection, but Lynch reversed it into a Dis-arm-her attempt. The Opportunity and Big Time Becks knew each other’s moves and pulled out all the stops to prove who was the better champion.
The animosity was evident as the two pummeled one another and one-upped each other, as Flair leveled Lynch with a big boot before The Man flattened The Queen with a Man-handle Slam, both for near-falls.
After connecting with a moonsault outside the ring, Flair rolled up Lynch and grabbed the ropes for extra leverage but was caught by the referee. Lynch took advantage of the miscue and reversed Flair for a rollup of her own and sneakily grabbed the ropes to keep Flair down for the three-count.
