The WWE Universe has enjoyed only a brief glimpse of the high-flying Rey Mysterio this year. He competed in the 2013 Royal Rumble Match, then the following week on SmackDown, when   Mysterio & Sin Cara defeated then-WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No in a Non-Title Match.

Since then, The Master of the 619 has not been seen in a WWE ring. However, the masked Superstar might return very soon, according to a recent Twitter post from the decorated champion:

The jury's out as to whether or not Mysterio can achieve his lofty ambition and return to the squared circle before August 14, at the very same event where he made his WWE pay-per-view debut 11 years earlier. Thankfully, though, the WWE Universe can still enjoy seeing the high-flyer soar in his most memorable SummerSlam moments.
