Elon Musk, a SpaceX entrepreneur and private spaceflight pioneer, believes his company will offer a round-trip to Mars in as little as 30 to 50 years. Current asking price? $500,000. With a lifetime to prepare for the voyage, could Sheamus become the first to defend his World Heavyweight Championship on another planet?

One web-worthy dual championship reign

The Million Dollar Man once proved that WWE Titles are not for sale when his attempt to purchase the WWE Championship from Andre the Giant was rebuked. Still, @jayoleary thinks that the reigning World Heavyweight Champion may have better luck than DiBiase did in 1988 – if Zack Ryder doesn’t object.

Long Island Iced-Z revealed in a USA Today article that he spent $1,600 to purchase his Internet Championship Title. If The Celtic Warrior saw that newspaper, Ryder may find himself with a well-funded challenger to the self-appointed champion.

5,000 payoffs to The Million Dollar Man’s foes

Speaking of The Million Dollar Man, Sheamus cost himself a chance to adopt one of the WWE Hall of Famer’s most infamous maneuvers.

After Ted DiBiase would finish off an opponent with the Million Dollar Dream, he would add insult to injury by stuffing his defeated rival’s mouth with a $100 bill. If Great White had kept his composure a few weeks ago on SmackDown, he could deliver DiBiase’s taunt to 5,000 decimated foes.

100,000 new drinking buddies

Some may say that Sheamus holding on to his $500,000 is cause for celebration – and Twitter user @FACEFrazza may have just the way to celebrate.

It should cover that and leave a nice tip for the poor bartender assigned with pouring those pints.

Why not burn rubber?  The Celtic Warrior could easy find himself a nice set of wheels with that kind of cash, but Twitter user @IamKyleBarker suggests that Sheamus should not settle for anything less than an attractive automobile worthy of an aristocrat.

The Mexican Aristocrat’s choice in auto may not leave Sheamus with much money to spend elsewhere, but Twitter user @Leebutton84 proposed purchasing a sports car that may be nearer and dearer to Randy Orton’s namesake– and maybe buying one for WWE's Apex Predator and three of his friends as well.

The Grande-est Stage of Them All

One of The Celtic Warrior’s devoted fans proposed putting the money to a practical use that David Otunga adopted in recent weeks.

A cup of Joe may be the way to go for Sheamus’ extra cash. In fact, the money would allow The Celtic Warrior to buy enough Trenta White Chocolate Blended Mocha Frappaccinos from Starbucks to caffeinate all 78,363 members of the record-setting capacity crowd at Sun Life Stadium that attended WrestleMania XXVIII. 

One solid gold addition to Sheamus’ outfit

WWE Universe member @TheIainGrant submits an idea that a little foresight and a large investment may have let Sheamus send another certified gold message to WWE Referee Chad Patton.

“a pair of gold plated boots to brogue kick the ref again #WithStyle,” @TheIainGrant said via Twitter.

Of course, a $500,000 pair of boots for The Celtic Warrior’s ensemble could likely weigh close to 20 pounds. Presuming Sheamus could lift his feet high enough for the Brogue Kick, it’s certain that Patton would get the follow up message.

One night under Rihanna’s umbrella

With half a million dollars to spend, Sheamus could obtain any number of front row seats at sold-out concerts for the foreseeable future. Or, he could choose to make one pop icon feel like the "Only Girl in the World."

Rihanna allegedly received an offer of $500,000 to perform a one-hour show for approximately 600 guests at a private event in Palm Springs, Fla. in Feb. 2011. The Grammy-winning singer missed that gig due to illness, but would she pass up a second chance to rake in that kind of cash for a guest list including The Celtic Warrior and 600 of his friends?

John Laurinaitis handed down his record-setting fine to Sheamus to restore balance and fairness within WWE’s competitive ranks. However, even Mr. Excitement couldn’t refrain from proposing a better use for The Celtic Warrior’s forfeited cash.

Sheamus would still have $500,000 in his pocket if he only kept his cool when Chad Patton made his questionable ruling in recent weeks. Perhaps he could have hired a coach to help Great White keep his composure and focus on fundamentals.

University of Alabama football coach Nick Saban is one such candidate. Based on his current salary, the leader of the 2012 BCS National Champions could make himself available for 34 days at a rate of $14,566.21 per day this year if Great White is willing to “Roll Tide” with real money.

$500,000 could easily make a Superstar’s down time a lot more entertaining. @R_Mick101 proposes one way to let a large portion of the WWE Universe play along.

That’s one way Sheamus could practice virtually grappling with The Game in his down time. Then again, half a million dollars would also allow Sheamus to buy an X-Box 360 and a copy of WWE ’12 for every man, woman and child who lives in Mariposa, Ca. That’s 1,800 new opponents who would be ready to play at a moment’s notice.

A new place to call “Home Sweet Home”

Perhaps pragmatism will pay off the most dividends for The Celtic Warrior in the long run. Considering his long tours of duty in WWE and the spoils that come with it, Sheamus may see $500,000 and only be reminded that there’s no place like home.

Great White could buy a four-bedroom detached house in the Cabra suburb of Dublin, Ireland for the low, low price of €380,000 (or, $500,000 in US dollars).  With a roof over his head, what else would Sheamus need?

@MattNolan99 makes a suggestion that may involve a sizable expansion to Sheamus’ closet.

Nike only made a handful of their Air Force 1 LUX '07 Masterpiece Anaconda Edition sneakers available as they celebrated 25 years of the treasured shoe’s existence, meaning Sheamus may have a little trouble tracking down all 250 pairs.
