Liv Morgan def. Natalya
After Natalya took credit for Liv Morgan's SmackDown Women's Title victory during a face-to-face last week, the new champion threw The B.O.A.T. out of the ring.
In a hard-fought Championship Contender’s Match this week, Morgan overcame The Queen of Harts by escaping an excruciating ankle lock and hitting Oblivion for the three-count.
During a post-match interview with Kayla Braxton, Kayla pointed out that Liv's victory over Natalya might not have been quite as dominant as her SummerSlam challenger and former titleholder Ronda Rousey's was the week prior. In response, Liv made it clear that she knows she's the underdog heading into SummerSlam but that she will still be the SmackDown Women's Champion after The Biggest Event of the Summer.

Drew McIntyre def. Ridge Holland
After Sheamus claimed to not be medically able to compete against Drew McIntyre last week in a match to determine who would challenge Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WWE Clash in the Castle, the match was rescheduled for this week.
Prior to the bell, Sheamus chased the unpredictable Butch out of the ring, and Butch ended up ringing the bell. This caused an apparently "unintentional" impromptu matchup between Ridge Holland and The SmackDown Warrior instead. After hitting Holland with Sheamus' White Noise, McIntyre finished off The Brawling Brute with the earth-shattering Claymore Kick.
Madcap Moss def. Theory by Disqualification
Mr. Money in the Bank got himself disqualified against Madcap Moss by attacking his opponent with the Money in the Bank briefcase.
When Theory declared that he was the next Undisputed WWE Universal Champion after the match, however, Sami Zayn emerged to take issue with Mr. Money in the Bank's "disrespect" to The Bloodline. When The Usos joined the party, Theory made a run for it and ran right into a Moss post-match attack.
Angelo Dawkins def. Jimmy Uso, Jeff Jarrett named Special Guess Referee for SummerSlam
In SmackDown's main event, Angelo Dawkins looked to secure a big victory over Jimmy Uso ahead of their Tag Team Championship Rematch at SummerSlam.
In the final moments, the official was accidently knocked to the canvas. He quickly recomposed himself to attempt a three-count for Dawkins' pin attempt, but he failed to see that Jimmy's shoulder was off the mat. Dawkins picked up a victory that was similar to the controversial way The Usos retained their titles at WWE Money in the Bank.
As the two tandems got into each other's faces, WWE Official Adam Pearce emerged to name WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett the Special Guest Referee for The Usos' Unified WWE Tag Team Title Rematch against The Street Profits at SummerSlam. In the wake of the announcement, The Usos and The Street Profits engaged in an all-out brawl as SmackDown went off the air.
