Ronda Rousey repelled attack from Sonya Deville and Charlotte Flair
As SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey prepare for their WrestleMania Saturday showdown on April 2, Flair opted to interrupt Michael Cole's emotional interview with her challenger to engaged Rousey, just seconds after The Rowdy One announced her goal to make The Queen tap out.
As Flair attempted to belittle her WrestleMania opponent from outside the ring, WWE Official Sonya Deville suddenly attacked Rousey from behind. Seizing the opportunity, The Queen grabbed Ronda's leg from the ringside area and smashed her surgically repaired knee into the ring post. Despite this, The Rowdy One regained the advantage and tossed Deville down to the canvas. Although Sonya narrowly escaped, Rousey's actions made it clear that she is not yet done with the nefarious Deville.
Big E & Kofi Kingston def. “The Lethal Lovers” Los Lotharios
With each tandem holding a victory over the other, Big E & Kofi Kingston overcame Los Lotharios in an out-of-control rubber match when they hit Angel with the Midnight Hour.
Xia Li def. Natalya
Although Natalya was looking to teach Xia Li a lesson, it was “The Protector” who ultimately reigned supreme over The B.O.A.T. in Li's in-ring SmackDown debut with an earth-shattering spinning Heel Kick.
Sami Zayn attacked Johnny Knoxville during Intercontinental Title Celebration
One week after capturing the Intercontinental Title from Shinsuke Nakamura in a hard-fought matchup, a jubilant Sami Zayn threw down the gantlet to anyone "brave" enough to challenge him for the title. Much to his surprise, the star of “Jackass Forever," Johnny Knoxville, answered the call. Zayn refused to have a title match against his adversary, though, explaining that Knoxville did not belong.
Just when he looked to be taking his leave, The Master Strategist suddenly unleashed an attack on Knoxville and left him lying on the canvas with a devastating Helluva Kick.
Sasha Banks def. Shotzi
With Naomi joining the SmackDown commentary team to cheer on the action in the ring, Sasha Banks proved she was truly back on the blue brand when she defeated the rebellious Shotzi with a Back stabber/Bank Statement combination.
After the match, Naomi stunned the WWE Universe when she entered the ring and declared that she and Bank were going to be the future Women's Tag Team Champions.
Drew McIntyre def. Madcap Moss
After finding a bit of retribution on Madcap Moss in a Falls Count Anywhere Match at WWE Elimination Chamber, Drew McIntyre was set to finally get his hands on Happy Corbin.
At the last minute, though, Corbin orchestrated circumstances so that Moss would instead take on McIntyre in a WWE Elimination Chamber rematch. Despite a pre-match attack from Corbin McIntyre ultimately emerged victorious over the joking Superstar with a Claymore Kick.
Brock Lesnar laid waste to Reigns’ security guards during Winner Take All Contract Signing
With Universal Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar set to battle in The Biggest WrestleMania Match of All-Time on WrestleMania Sunday on April 3, The Beast and The Head of the Table was scheduled to meet in the ring to make the Winner Take All Championship Unification Match official in a contract signing on SmackDown.
With numerous security guards present in the ring, Paul Heyman first pontificated on how Reigns matchup against Lesnar was truly The Biggest WrestleMania Match of All-Time.
Then, both titleholders eventually came face-to-face and signed the document. Before it was over, however, The Head of the Table exclaimed once again that SmackDown was his show. He listed all the things that were his from the announcers to the fans themselves to, most importantly, all the security guards in the squared circle.
Before the guards could attack Lesnar, though, The Beast engaged the entire force as The Bloodline took their exit. The Conqueror laid waste to Reigns' security team and sent a message to Reigns on The Road to WrestleMania.
