Following a protest that revolved around the theory that he was robbed of the United States Title yet again at SummerSlam, Kevin Owens demanded another championship match with AJ Styles, who agreed to the high-stakes bout and the stipulation that KO would be allowed to choose the official. The catch? SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon decreed that Owens will not get another opportunity at the title for as long as The Phenomenal One is champion if KO loses tonight.
