John Cena returns to SmackDown LIVE as a 16-time World Champion: photos
The Champ is here and poised for a possible AJ Styles rematch, the upcoming Elimination Chamber Match and the looming threat of 2017 Royal Rumble Match winner Randy Orton.
WWE Champion John Cena returns to SmackDown LIVE.
“Corpus Christi, Texas, The Champ is here!” he says.
Cena is now a record-tying 16-time World Champion after his win Sunday at Royal Rumble.
John Cena tells AJ Styles he’s sorry. “I was wrong about you. You’re not just a guy from Atlanta.”
Cena says Styles is an elite athlete who brings out the best in him.
“SmackDown LIVE is the place to be, and John Cena is the man to beat. If you want some, come get some,” Cena says, but is quickly interrupted.
Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton appear.
“The more things change around here, the more things stay exactly the same,” Wyatt says.
Wyatt assures Cena he’ll be “trapped like a rat” with him inside the Elimination Chamber in two weeks.
“There will be nowhere to run, there will be nowhere to hide,” Wyatt threatens.
