SmackDown Five-Point Preview: Nov. 7, 2014
Who will leap from the Cage with the titles in their grasp?
Tonight, WWE Tag Team Champions Gold & Stardust will battle former titleholders The Usos for championship gold. This time, however, their war will be waged inside the dreaded Steel Cage!
SmackDown is moving to Thursday nights!
Consider the high-octane, high-flying nature of both teams, this is definitely not a showdown to be missed. The only question is: Will the unrelenting ambition of Jimmy & Jey, coupled with this new battleground, be enough to unseat the reigning titleholders from their cosmic key? Can you say Samoan Splash off the top of the cage? Anyone? Anyone?
Instability threatens “The Peep Show”
Two-time World Champion Christian returns to SmackDown tonight, bringing the controversial “Peep Show” along with him.
Watch: Bray Wyatt's creepy message for Dean Ambrose
While he is known as Captain Charisma, it remains to be seen whether the highly decorated Superstar will have what it takes to carry out his latest interview. For one thing, his guest is the highly unstable Dean Ambrose. There is no telling what he will say or do. Plus, considering that The Lunatic Fringe is certainly headed for an eventual collision with Bray Wyatt, it will be interesting to see what goes down if The Eater of Worlds decides to make an appearance.
It’s all a question of Survival
OK, so let me get this straight. At Survivor Series, Team Cena will battle Team Authority in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match. And per Mr. McMahon’s edict on Monday night, if Authority doesn’t prevail, COO Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will be ousted from power.
Team Cena vs. Team Authority preview
Well, with such important stakes on the line and only two Superstars officially named to each side, every show from now until their pay-per-view clash is going to be of major importance as the remaining team spots are filled. Translation, SmackDown could prove more volatile than ever before. Find out if more teams members will be confirmed tonight on Syfy.
Ryback, Ryback, everywhere!
In case any members of the WWE Universe have been asleep for the last two weeks, they really need to … “WAKE UP!” That’s because Ryback returned last Monday and has been living up to his moniker of The Human Wrecking Ball ever since. Watch out, SmackDown, for all signs say that Friday night will once again be “feeding time!”
An Iron Curtain descends over the U.S.
On Monday, immediately after Raw went off the air, Rusev captured the United States Title from Sheamus on WWE Network. Will he and “The Ravishing Russian” Lana return to SmackDown for a victory march? Is The Celtic Warrior ready to launch a counter-offensive? Find out tonight at 8/7 CT on Syfy.
