Cowboy Troy gets Raw
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Cowboy Troy, a country music singer and current co-host of USA Network's hit television show Nashville Star, was backstage at Gaylord Entertainment Center before a live broadcast of Monday Night Raw. While roaming the locker room area meeting WWE Superstars, the country music sensation noticed something about the world's most recognizable Executive Assistant.
"If I took my hat off some people might mistake me for Jonathan Coachman," he joked.
A WWE fan for nearly 30 years, Cowboy Troy couldn't mask his excitement when asked about his favorite current Superstar. "RVD is probably my favorite right now; he's pretty cool. But I'm just a huge WWE fan in general."
Cowboy Troy wasn't the only celebrity sighting at Raw. Nashville native Mark Wills joined his fellow country music star prior to the show.
"I watch WWE as much as I can," he said, noting how travel makes it difficult to watch on a weekly basis. "I just saw 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan walking around and meeting him and some of the guys that I've grown up with is just awesome."
