With a heavy heart, Paige stuns the WWE Universe by announcing her retirement from WWE.
An emotional Paige says it was really hard to sit on the sidelines during WrestleMania last night.
Paige says this ring is her heart, soul and blood.
The former Divas Champion can no longer perform as an in-ring competitor due to her neck injury.
Paige thanks Daniel Bryan for coming back from a supposed career-ending injury because he has given her hope.
Paige also thanks Edge for showing her that there is life outside of WWE…
… and she says she now needs to go find something else.
Paige recalls when she debuted in New Orleans and won the Divas Championship, and now she wants to retire in the same place.
The WWE Universe showers her with chants of "Thank you, Paige" and "This is your house," and she confirms that WWE "will always be my house."
Paige waves goodbye to her adoring fans.
