John Cena kicks off Raw, announcing Daniel Bryan earned the WWE Championship victory at SummerSlam.
Cena reveals he has a torn tricep and needs surgery.
"I am not using this as an excuse," Cena says. "Last night, I was defeated by a better man in a clean fight."
"Tonight I leave for the next four to six months to get myself healthy."
Before exiting the ring, Cena introduces Bryan.
Before Bryan can say a word, WWE Executive Vice President of Creative Stephanie McMahon enters the ring.
McMahon says her husband, WWE COO Triple H, was doing what was "best for business" when he hit him with a Pedigree, allowing Randy Orton to cash in Money in the Bank for the WWE Title at SummerSlam.
"It seems like some people here have a disagreement as far as what's best for business," he says.
"Daniel, you might not be an A, but you are a B-plus," she says. "Solid B-plus."
"I can be WWE Champion and I don't care what you think," he says before knocking the microphone from her hand.
