Jericho tweets farewell message to WWE Universe

Just days after Chris Jericho's epic showdown with Rob Van Dam on Raw, the nine-time Intercontinental Champion revealed on Twitter that he is taking a break from WWE.

The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla is scheduled to compete this Friday on SmackDown (8/7 CT on Syfy). Will it be Jericho’s final match in WWE, or will he return to action when the time is right?

With Y2J’s history of making surprise entrances, we certainly aren’t counting him out yet!
