Nine weeks after suffering a massive heart attack on a live broadcast of Raw, Jim Ross and Michael Cole welcome the return of Jerry "The King" Lawler.
"The King" receives a standing ovation and chants of "Jerry, Jerry."
"I have no idea what I should say right now," the WWE Hall of Famer says. "This is just so overwhelming."
"I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate it and I love each and every one of you," Lawler tells the WWE fans in regard to their prayers and well-wishes for "The King." "Thank you, all!"
Just then, the familiar sound of "Cult of Personality" blares and WWE Champion CM Punk saunters to the ring with Paul Heyman bringing up the rear.
The Second City Saint spits crass vitriol, telling Lawler, "I'm glad you left the ring when you did, because if you didn't, I would've beat you to death ... again."
Punk's verbal assault continues on, never veering from its cruel and distasteful core sentiment.
Heyman begins coughing, and he doubles over ...
... prompting Punk to check in on his agent.
