John Cena interrupts Paul Heyman; AJ Lee makes the main event: photos
Heyman shows Patton a photo of the finish, and asks him if he made the right decision.
Finally, Punk's Night of Champions opponent, John Cena, comes to state his case.
"I actually agree with you," Cena shockingly admits. "Chad Patton made the right call last night."
"That's pretty much like ending a Super Bowl in a tie," Cena says. "Is a draw how you wanted to see that match end?"
Cena asks Heyman if he thinks Punk is earning the respect he says he's receiving.
Heyman says yes to Cena's question about respect.
Then, Cena says he's ready for his rematch with Punk tonight!
Then, Alberto Del Rio, with Ricardo Rodriguez in tow, arrives on the scene.
"You had your chance and you lost," he says to Cena. "On the other hand, I never had a fair shot."
Before the opening of Raw descends into chaos, the show's General Manager, AJ Lee, intervenes.
"Tonight I'm going to take the two main events from last night and combine them to make a super main event," the Diva proclaims.
Before skipping away, she says Cena will team with Sheamus to face Punk & Del Rio!
