Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax def. Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke
Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax rolled into Raw angry and set their sights on Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke to take out their frustrations. The “Sexy Muscle Friends” impressed WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair & Asuka at ringside with a strong offensive against the imposing tandem. Brooke went high-risk to try and secure the win, but The Queen of Spades countered into a Kirifuda Clutch to force the tapout. After the match, Baszler & Jax turned their attention to the new titleholders, but Rose & Brooke happily dispatched them from the ring to prove they aren’t backing down from the title chase.
Angel Garza def. Drew Gulak
Before the opening bell, Angel Garza gifted a rose to Sarah Schreiber and then entered the ring ready to dish out pain to Drew Gulak. The international ambassador of love was in control from the start, and a superkick stunned Gulak. Garza sprung at the opportunity and hit a Wing Clipper and struck a pose on the ropes to relish his victory.
T-BAR def. Ricochet
RETRIBUTION continued their forceful recruitment of Ricochet with a punishing showdown against T-BAR. An earth-shattering clothesline leveled the high-flyer, but Ricochet kicked out just ahead of the three-count. As has been the case for weeks, Ricochet was forced to deal with the entire RETRIBUTION horde outside the ring and continued to defy Mustafa Ali’s master plan. As Ricochet turned focus back to the ring, T-BAR was waiting with a crushing knee to the jaw that resulted in the pin.
Bobby Lashley & MVP def. Jeff Hardy & Riddle
After Jeff Hardy & Riddle crashed The Hurt Business’ championship celebration earlier in the night, Bobby Lashley & MVP came out furious. The United States Champion imposed his will until The Original Bro began chopping him down with a series of kicks. The Charismatic Enigma provided the assist for a teamed up Floating Bro, and “The Hardy Bros” appeared to be creating some serious “Broetry in Motion.” A devious maneuver by The All Mighty knocked Hardy off the top rope and sent him crashing onto the steel steps. Riddle got rolling and nearly finished MVP with a fisherman suplex, but Lashley broke up the pin and tagged himself in. Hardy dug deep to try and get his payback on the United States Champion, but Lashley clasped in the Hurt Lock once again, and there was no escape.
Jaxson Ryker def. Gran Metalik
Jaxson Ryker has been reborn through the “Universal Truth,” and Gran Metalik found out the hard way on Raw. As Elias provided the soundtrack for the battle, The King of the Ropes knocked the songbird from his perch, and Lince Dorado was left with his own guitar solo. The celebration was short-lived, as an incensed Ryker charged Gran Metalik and smashed his opponent with a Sit-out Chokebomb for the finale.
Charlotte Flair & Asuka def. Lacey Evans & Peyton Royce – Non-Title Match
Lacey Evans & Peyton Royce showed initiative to get themselves a matchup with the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. The challengers were out to prove they belonged, as Royce impressed with repeated attacks against The Empress of Tomorrow. Chemistry issues began to doom Evans & Royce, as a couple of unprompted tags proved costly. As the pair argued, Asuka rallied with a suplex and tagged in The Queen, who began unleashing on Royce. Royce nearly tasted victory, but Asuka broke up her hold and Flair locked in a Figure Eight to force the submission.
Drew McIntyre, Sheamus & Keith Lee def. AJ Styles, The Miz & John Morrison – Six-Man Holiday Street Fight
An explosive “Miz TV” created a combustible situation for both teams heading into the Six-Man Holiday Street Fight. Sheamus and Keith Lee began throwing their weight around, but it wasn’t long before the two titans were at each other’s throats. An inopportune distraction allowed John Morrison to toss Sheamus from the top rope and sent him crashing through the holiday spread on the outside. The holiday hijinks then kicked into overdrive as AJ Styles targeted the hobbled knee of Drew McIntyre with a candy cane, but The King of Claymore Country delivered his own holiday treat. McIntyre sent The Phenomenal One flying into the ringside Christmas tree and then splashing into the eggnog. With The Miz down, Sheamus and Lee fought over the final tag, and Lee eventually seized the moment with a Spirit Bomb win. After the final bell, a frustrated Celtic Warrior dished out a Brogue Kick to Lee, much to the dismay of McIntyre.
