Jinny def. Emilia McKenzie

A heated backstage confrontation from a few weeks back predictably gave way to a fierce slugfest between Emilia McKenzie and Jinny.

The Fashionista, who made pre-match claims that her opponent isn’t ready to compete on her level, somewhat backed up her words, albeit in controversial fashion.

With Jinny reeling from a wicked cutter and a belly-to-back suplex, Joseph Conners tried to grab McKenzie’s leg, and NXT Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura hit the scene and blasted him with a kick to the head. Moments later, Jinny side-stepped her foe and clobbered her with a kick to the back of the neck for the 1-2-3.

After the bell, Jinny boasted about defeating Satomura’s “protégé” and issued a challenge for a title bout, and Satomura entered the ring for a tense staredown before hoisting her championship above her head.

Sam Gradwell def. Mark Andrews

Sam Gradwell has been on a crusade in recent months, demanding to be acknowledged as one of the “founding fathers of NXT UK.”

The Thunderstorm lived up to his nickname, entering the squared circle in a foul mood and overwhelming the former NXT UK Tag Team Champion with several vicious punches and a double underhook suplex in the early goings.

Andrews fought back with a flurry that included a flying clothesline, a stundog millionaire, and a moonsault that wiped out The Thunderstorm at ringside, but Gradwell somehow withstood the barrage and planted Andrews with an innovative slam to earn the win.

Noam Dar def. Wolfgang in an NXT UK Heritage Cup No. 1 Contender’s Final Match, 2-1

Despite enduring unimaginable punishment throughout the first two grueling rounds of the eight-Superstar competition, Wolfgang and Noam Dar pulled out all the stops in an epic tournament finale.

Following an opening round that saw Dar do his best to antagonize his larger adversary, Jordan Devlin attacked Joe Coffey from behind in Round 2, and the two Superstars brawled to the backstage area. Dar took advantage of the commotion by rolling up Wolfgang for the three-count and a 1-0 lead.

Just five seconds into Round 3, The Last King of Scotland knotted the contest at one fall apiece by nearly Spearing Dar out of his boots and picking up a pinfall.

Round 4 concluded with a ringside brawl that was punctuated by Wolfgang attempting to Spear his foe through the wall, only for Dar to dodge and send his opponent shoulder-first into the unforgiving barricade.

At the end of a hard-hitting Round 5, “The Big Bad Wolf” landed a picture-perfect Spear, only for the clock to expire just before the official could slap the mat for the three-count.

And in the decisive Round 6, The Scottish Supernova landed back-to-back Nova Rollers to finally keep Wolfgang down for the pinfall.

Having defeated Mark Andrews, Kenny Williams, and now Wolfgang in the tournament, Dar is primed to challenge NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion Tyler Bate, who brought his trophy to ringside and exchanged words with Dar and Sha Samuels as NXT UK concluded.
