NXT Level Up results: June 10, 2022

Valentina Feroz def. Arianna Grace

Having already defeated Amari Miller in her WWE debut match on NXT Level Up and participated in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, a hungry Arianna Grace stepped into the ring seeking what would likely be the biggest win of her career against the ever-popular Valentina Feroz.

With dueling cries of “Val-en-ti-na” and “Ar-i-ann-a” echoing throughout the NXT Arena, Grace displayed impressive strength in the early goings by dropping her foe face-first onto the top turnbuckle with snake eyes and following up by leveling Feroz with a back body drop.

The resilient Feroz nonetheless battled back by flinging Grace across the ring with a series of arm drags and taking her down with a spear. Moments later, Grace once again lifted Feroz over her head, but this time, the crafty Feroz countered with a surprise backslide for the three-count.

Sloane Jacobs def. Sierra St. Pierre

Perhaps feeling frustrated after losing to Fallon Henley in the first round of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, a laser-focused Sloane Jacobs looked to dole out punishment to Sierra St. Pierre.

Save for St. Pierre’s brief flurry that saw her sling Jacobs into the corner and catch her with a mean forearm strike, Jacobs was in total control from bell to bell, and she quickly snuffed out St. Pierre’s rally with a butterfly suplex and a rapid-fire succession of reverse elbows and clotheslines.

Likely sensing the finish line, Jacobs hoisted St. Pierre onto her shoulders and sealed the win with a flapjack.

Ikemen Jiro def. Dante Chen

Recently proclaiming that the “NXT ring is my house,” Dante Chen set out to back up his words against the equally beloved and athletic Ikemen Jiro in an edge-of-your-seat thriller.

Chen nearly accomplished the feat when he drove his opponent back-first into the mat and ensnared him in a painful submission hold that targeted Jiro’s midsection.

Jiro, however, created some separation by catching the hard-charging Chen with double boots to the face and several Jacket Punches before ending the bout with the Ikemen Slash.
