NXT Level Up results: Osborne soars to win over outspoken Crusifino

The last time the WWE Universe saw Von Wagner on NXT Level Up, he was steamrolling Javier Bernal and passing out holiday treats to the NXT Arena.

The colossal Superstar was all business, however, for his bout against Keanu Carver, a powerful newcomer and recent combatant in the NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament who perhaps surprised Wagner when he sent him careening across the ring with a massive shoulder block to leave the NXT Arena in amazement.

Though Carver showed no intimidation and drew a two-count after a ring-shaking slam, Wagner got back in the fight by landing a boot to the chin. Moments later, Wagner hoisted the gargantuan Carver for a fireman’s carry slam to earn the three-count.

Kiana James & Izzi Dame def. Kelani Jordan & Brinley Reece

Teaming together for the first time, the athletic pairing of Kelani Jordan and Brinley Reece received a tough test against the cold, calculated duo of Kiana James and Izzi Dame.

Dame flashed a scary mean streak when she targeted Jordan, who was stuck upside down in the tree of woe, and pulled at her arms from the ringside floor.

Reece eventually received a tag and caught both of her opponents with a shoulder block from the middle rope, but James raked Reece’s eyes when the official was distracted and leveled her with a decisive Dealbreaker.

Riley Osborne def. Luca Crusifino

It has been a rough few weeks for Chase University, but its newest student did his school proud with an eye-opening performance in the main event against Luca Crusifino.

Osborne had to deal with “The Legal Eagle’s” typical shenanigans, as the detested lawyer talked trash non-stop and used the top rope to attack the back of Osborne’s leg.

Though momentarily slowed by his aching knee, Osborne fought out of a modified single-leg crab and landed a breathtaking shooting star press for the win.
