NXT Level Up results: Jan. 12, 2024

Joe Coffey def. Tavion Heights

In a bout between two Superstars with vastly different styles, Tavion Heights brough his mat-grappling acumen against Joe Coffey’s fisticuffs in the historic 100th episode of NXT Level Up.

The former Olympian got the better of Coffey in the early goings, outmaneuvering the bruiser and nearly claiming the win with a twisting belly-to-belly suplex for a long two-count.

Staggered but still in the fight, Coffey fought free from an ankle lock and clobbered his foe with All the Best for the Bells.

Jaida Parker def. Amari Miller

Amari Miller has shown incredible courage in her comeback from a debilitating injury that cost her nearly a year, but she’ll have to wait at least a little longer to claim her first win since returning thanks to the menacing Jaida Parker.

Parker, who recently competed in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, landed the first big blow when she grabbed Miller by the arm and sent her flying head-over-heels from the turnbuckles to the canvas for a crash-landing.

Miller seemed to be back on track when she blitzed her opponent with rapid-fire kicks, but Parker yanked at Miller’s knee brace, stuck her in the back of the knee and planted her back-first with a unique suplex for the three-count.

Joe Gacy def. Javier Bernal

Joe Gacy has experienced his fair share of ups and downs since making his WWE debut, but if his match against Javier Bernal is any indication, perhaps the former leader of Schism can prosper on his own.

Gacy, who took part in the first match in NXT Level Up history, left his opponent perplexed when he performed a handstand from the middle turnbuckle while smiling ear to ear.

Having also appeared on the inaugural episode of NXT Level Up, Big Body Javi claimed the upper hand by catching Gacy with a nasty neckbreaker from the apron and through the ropes. Gacy, however, secured the win by clobbering Bernal with his handspring lariat.
