Jacy Jayne def. Izzi Dame
For better or worse, Jacy Jayne has had a profound impact on Thea Hail.
Looking to set an example for the prized pupil of Chase University, Jayne hurled Izzi Dame to the mat and broke out a classic D Generation-X gesture in the early goings, much to the shock and amazement of Hail.
Dame, who was narrowly defeated by Kelani Jordan in the first round of the NXT Breakout Tournament, struck back with some vicious elbow strikes to the face, but Jayne eventually fought free and connected with the Rolling Encore for the three-count.
Axiom def. Riley Osborne
In what might have been the most-eagerly anticipated rematch in NXT Level Up history, Axiom and Riley Osborne once again dazzled the NXT Arena with a fast-paced thriller.
Axiom, who won his last bout against Osborne despite some believing that Osborne had gotten his shoulder off the mat before the three-count, landed the first big blow when he connected with a boot to the face that sent his opponent soaring over the top rope to the ringside floor.
Osborne drew a long-two count after a modified suplex, but Axiom wowed the WWE Universe with a Spanish fly and followed up with the Golden Ratio for the win.
