Roman Reigns is on a mission to tune up Elias when the two Superstars square off at WWE Money in the Bank.
As expected, this year’s Superstar Shake-up turned WWE completely upside-down, with the wildest moment arguably occurring at the end of SmackDown LIVE when the final Superstar to switch brands was revealed.
Heading into the second night, Mr. McMahon had promised the biggest acquisition in the show’s history, and the WWE Chairman delivered … Elias.
Before Elias could settle into his routine of insulting the WWE Universe and singing a disrespectful tune while strumming his guitar, Reigns suddenly emerged as the newest edition to Team Blue and put the exclamation point on his arrival by delivering the Superman Punch to Mr. McMahon and The Chairman’s favorite musical acquisition before nearly Spearing Elias out of his boots. After landing the two vicious strikes and drilling the songsmith with a bone-jarring tackle, The Big Dog grabbed the mic and declared SmackDown LIVE was his new yard.
Despite the ecstatic reaction from the WWE Universe, Mr. McMahon was not amused ... and neither was his son, Shane. Determined to even the score with Reigns, Shane-O-Mac challenged the former Universal Champion to a fight, but Reigns was suddenly blindsided by Elias. Despite Reigns' best efforts to fight off both of his foes, The Living Truth and Shane administered a two-on-one assault that left The Big Dog down.
Elias followed up by later challenging the black-clad Superstar to a match at the upcoming pay-per-view. Not surprisingly, Reigns happily accepted, and the stage is now set for an all-out brawl.
