SmackDown!: TV That's Changing Friday Nights
In a bold move, WWE's SmackDown! will be taking over Friday nights starting September 9 at 8 p.m. ET. After more than five years of headlining UPN's Thursday night lineup, WWE aggressively presents "TV That's Changing Friday Nights."
SmackDown! will begin taking over Friday nights (Sept. 9, UPN) starting with three amazing matches. In a SummerSlam rematch, World Heavyweight Champion Batista will defend against former WWE Champion JBL in a Bull Rope Match.
Also, Road Warrior Animal and Heidenreich will put the WWE Tag Team Championship on the line against the team they won the titles from in July, MNM. And the emotional Eddie Guerrero-Rey Mysterio saga will continue when the two rivals square off in one-on-one action in a Steel Cage Match.
Plus, United States Champion Chris Benoit will defend his championship against the man he beat to get it -- Orlando Jordan.
Make sure you don't miss this new chapter in sports-entertainment when Friday Night SmackDown! comes to UPN starting September 9 at 8 p.m. ET.
