Chicago Blackhawks celebrate Stanley Cup win with WWE World Heavyweight Championship
With their third Stanley Cup in six seasons, the Chicago Blackhawks have entered into dynasty territory. To help the ’Hawks celebrate the sixth Cup in franchise history, WWE sent them a special gift: a custom WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Three days after clinching the Stanley Cup in Chicago for the first time in 77 years with a 2-0 win over the Hulk Hogan supported Tampa Bay Lightning, Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and the ’Hawks celebrated with the Windy City faithful down Michigan Ave. before heading inside Soldier Field for a rally.
Before the rally, Conn Smythe winner — aka playoff MVP — Duncan Keith, captain Toews, defenseman Brent Seabrook and forward Patrick Sharp thanked Vince McMahon for the title and added it to their trophy collection.

Seabrook particularly loved the WWE gold, and according to the Blackhawk’s Twitter, it wasn’t just during the photoshoot: “...The belt was kind of his baby.”
