First look at Batista in new James Bond film, 'Spectre'
The latest issue of " Empire" magazine features an in-depth look at the upcoming James Bond film, "Spectre," including the first official photo of Batista as Mr. Hinx. As the excitement for 007's return mounts, everyone is anticipating The Animal's first major role since stealing the show as Drax in "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy" last summer.
In the feature, Batista offered his attraction to playing the role.
"When I came over to meet Sam [Mendes], I only asked two questions," says the erstwhile Galaxy Guardian. "I asked him if Mr. Hinx was a badass. He said, 'Yes, he's a badass.' I said, 'Well, is Mr. Hinx intelligent?' He said, 'Very.' That's what I like about Mr. Hinx. He's very well-dressed and very well-mannered. I'm not just here to fight people. He has a sense of humour. He definitely knows what a metaphor is." – Batista in " Empire"
The film is set for a Nov. 6, 2015 release date. The latest issue of "Empire" hits newsstands this week.
