This is the story of Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. Also known as The Mega Powers.
Together, they battled some of the most reviled villains of their era.
They both had Elizabeth, Savage's girlfriend, as their manager, even when in separate matches.
This eventually drove a wedge between them, as Savage became overprotective of Elizabeth.
The tension boiled over at The Main Event, when Savage accused Hogan of lust and attacked his partner.
The former friends would explode completely at WrestleMania V in a match for the WWE Championship.
At WrestleMania IV, Hogan helped Savage win the WWE Title, unofficially creating The Mega Powers.
Hogan hit Ted Dibiase with a chair after his rival, Andre the Giant, interfered in the match.
A flying elbow later, and Savage gained the WWE Championship and the friendship of the Hulkster.
By SummerSlam of that year, the duo was officially a team with Elizabeth managing them both.
Hogan and Savage banded together to take on their common foes, Andre and DiBiase, the Mega Bucks.
