Check out photos from The Last Battle of Atlanta, a 1983 Steel Cage Match that settled the rivalry between "Wildfire" Tommy Rich and "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer and inspired Hell in a Cell.

The Last Battle of Atlanta was the final showdown between "Wildfire" Tommy Rich and "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer.
Rich and Sawyer brawled from Georgia to as far north as Michigan for nearly two years before officials felt the mayhem had to stop.
Rich emerged victorious from the brutal fight. Many thought video of the October 1983 war did not exist. However, in 2016, complete footage of The Last Battle of Atlanta was discovered in WWE's archives and posted to WWE Network, enabling generations of fans to see the battle for the first-time ever.
Prior to his rivalry with Sawyer, Tommy Rich held the NWA World Title for four days in 1981.
Sawyer bounced around the territories after his defeat at the hands of Rich.
In World Class Championship Wrestling, "Mad Dog" held the Texas Heavyweight Title.
Sawyer also formed a successful tag team with Matt Borne.
