The two were battling over who was the true Intercontinental Champion.
Michaels was the champion, but was stripped upon his suspension from WWE. Ramon won a tournament to fill the vacancy.
HBK and The Bad Guy battered each other with ladders in ways never seen before by the WWE Universe.
Michaels stunned the crowd with his daredevil leap from the top of the ladder.
In the end, however, it was Razor Ramon who grabbed the championships to claim victory.
After the WrestleMania war, HBK's bodyguard, Diesel, challenged The Bad Guy, defeating him for the Intercontinental Title.
