Toxic Attraction def. Wendy Choo & Roxanne Perez to retain the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles
Wendy Choo had one more prank for Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne before she and Roxanne Perez challenged the duo for the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles, flying in from the top rope to flatten the entirety of Toxic Attraction before the bell even rang. The surprise did not go over well, though, as Toxic Attraction rallied to batter Perez after turning the tide with a neckbreaker.
After Perez escaped to tag in Choo, she and the sleepy Superstar wiped out Dolin & Jayne with a dive through the ropes. The newly formed cruised rolled against the Tag Team Champions until Perez climbed to the top rope and Mandy Rose rolled into the ring to check on Dolin. An incensed Choo jumped the NXT Women's Champion, but during the confusion Jayne leveled Perez with a Superkick as she set up for a Sunset Flip to allow Dolin to pin the rookie and retain the tag team titles.
As Toxic Attraction dumped Perez to the arena floor following the match, Choo flew in for retribution but Rose snuck up from behind and smashed the NXT Women's Title across Choo's back.
Joe Gacy extended an invitation to Bron Breakker to join his movement
Standing beside two of his most prominent disciples, Joe Gacy declared that he had opened the door of inclusion to everyone that would commit to change, stating that change takes place with one person at a time. Gacy then extended an invitation to Bron Breakker in the hopes the NXT Champion would make that change and join his movement.
Fallon Henley def. Sloane Jacobs in a Women’s Breakout Tournament opening round match
After introducing all eight Superstars who will compete in the first-ever NXT Women's Breakout Tournament, up-and-comers Fallon Henley and Sloane Jacobs took to the ring for their opening round match.
The two rising Superstars showed what they were capable of, but as Jacobs had Henley locked up Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen appeared at ringside to fire up their friend. Henley rallied to drop Jacobs with a sit down facebuster and a fierce right hand. Jacobs looked to swing momentum back to her side with a huricanrana and a neckbreaker for a near fall, but as she hoisted Henley onto her shoulders Henley flipped the script with an elbow and a clothesline before sizing up Jacobs for a Shining Wizard to earn the victory.
Alba Fyre def. Amari Miller
The reborn Alba Fyre made a fiery return to the ring in her singles match against Amari Miller. Making a return to action herself, Miller looked to spoil Fyre's return in a fast and furious opening few minutes, but the flames began to rise as Fyre connected with a DDT and a Superkick for a near fall.
Miller continued to trade blows with Fyre until she got caught with a Glasgow Kiss and a Fyre Bomb in quick succession before Fyre climbed to the top rope to squash Miller with a senton for the 1-2-3.
Solo Sikoa challenged then saved Cameron Grimes
Despite losing the Triple Threat Match for the North American Championship, Solo Sikoa took to the ring to proclaim he wasn't done chasing after the title. "The Street Champion of the Island" stated he was happy to watch Carmelo Hayes have his one-on-one rematch, but no matter the outcome he had next.
Cameron Grimes then came out to the ring to agree to face Sikoa following his match against Hayes. As Sikoa left the ring, Hayes and Trick Williams crept up behind the North American Champion and leveled him with a springboard clothesline. After putting Grimes head through a chair, Hayes climbed to the top rope but was cut off from his assault as Sikoa raced back into the ring to send Hayes and Williams scurrying away.
Sarray & Andre Chase def. Tiffany Stratton & Grayson Waller
Originally slated to go one-on-one with Grayson Waller, Andre Chase was approached by Sarray during his warm ups to suggest they turn the match into a Mixed Tag Team Match so she could get her hands on Waller's new friend Tiffany Stratton.
Chase taught Waller a lesson in the early going, mocking "The Arrogant Aussie" before he tagged in Stratton. Sarray flew in to chop down Stratton and join Chase for some tandem "Chase U" stomps until Waller and Stratton changed the momentum with an assisted standing moonsault and an elbow drop from Waller. Chase escaped to tag in Sarray who leveled Stratton with a trio of dropkicks before setting her sights on Waller for a devastating Sunray Dropkick.
Unfortunately for Sarray, Stratton was the legal competitor as she blindsided The Warrior of the Sun with a shot to the back of the head before hitting her spinning corner splash. But as the ref went for the count of three Bodhi Hayward let loose on his air horn to startle the referee and stop the count. Furious at the stoppage, Stratton flew over the ropes and took out Hayward, but as she got back in the ring Sarray rolled "Daddy's Little Princess" up to steal the victory.
Nikkita Lyons def. Arianna Grace in a Women’s Breakout Tournament opening round match
Realizing she had a big hill to climb in her opening round match against Nikkita Lyons, newcomer Arianna Grace went right after the tournament favorite with an attempted armbar.
The rookie gave Lyons all she could handle by targeting her left arm, but the viral sensation swiftly quelled the momentum with a corner splash and a roundhouse kick. Lyons kept the pressure on with a German Suplex before catching Grace with a spinning back heel kick and covering the upstart with her split-legged splash to punch her ticket to the tournament semifinals.
Natalya def. Cora Jade via referee stoppage
Still riding high after her tag team victory at NXT Spring Breakkin', Cora Jade looked to prove she belonged with the best by going one-on-one with Natalya. Jade stood toe-to-toe with her former idol, dropping Natalya with a huricanrana before attempting to cinch in a Sharpshooter of her own.
The BOAT quickly escaped the submission attempt and used her veteran instincts to turn the tide, but the momentum did not last long as Jade powered up for a flurry of offense that left Natalya stunned following a tornado DDT. The two Superstars traded right hands on the top turnbuckle until Natalya leveled Jade with a clothesline after dodging a senton attempt.
Natalya then focused her efforts on Jade's legs after hitting a lethal snap suplex, slamming them against the mat and the ring post. Jade persevered, though, catching Natalya with a double stomp and a Sliced Bread for a pair of near falls. Jade locked in a Sharpshooter, but the damage to her legs was too much and she could not sustain the submission attempt. Jade opted to climb to the top rope, but Natalya pulled her off and locked in the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. Unable to reach the ropes, the resilient up-and-comer refused to tap out despite the pain eventually passing out and forcing the referee to end the match.
