Wes Lee def. Tyler Bate - North American Championship
The NXT North American Championship is staying with Wes Lee, but not after some shenanigans involving special guest referee Mustafa Ali.
Lee and Bate squared off in the spirit of competition as both Superstars have been allies to one another in recent months, but it began to turn when neither of them could trust the actions of Ali who began conducting both quick and slow counts.
Bate came close on several occasions to winning the title, but Lee’s championship mettle was too great as a well-timed and well-placed Kardiak Kick ended the contest and allowed the champion to retain.
Malik Blade & Edris Enofé def. Hank & Tank and Briggs & Jensen - No. 1 Contenders Triple Threat Match
Malik Blade & Edris Enofé are the new No. 1 Contenders to the NXT Tag Team Championships after defeating Hank & Tank and Briggs & Jensen in a fast-paced Triple Threat Match.
Briggs & Jensen looked poised to win the match thanks to their version of the Hart Attack, but Enofé and Blade appeared out of nowhere to deliver stereo splashes and stun their opponents to win the match and earn the right to face Gallus.
Cora Jade def. Dana Brooke
Dana Brooke intended to teach Cora Jade a lesson, but NXT’s meanest Superstar was the one who had her hand raised in the end.
Brooke toyed with jade, showing off her athleticism, but one kick from Jade while Brooke was tied up in the ropes changed the complexion of the match entirely.
After NXT’s medical team attempted to get Brooke to the back, she refused, and hobbled back into the ring to finish what she started.
However, the injury to her knee was too much to overcome as Jade locked in a half Boston Crab that forced the referee to stop the match.
Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson def. Yulisa Leon & Valentina Feroz
The Meta-Four’s Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson picked up a big victory in tag team action by taking out Yulisa Leon & Valentina Feroz in impressive fashion.
Both teams were evenly matched, but Leon’s dive to the outside inadvertently left Feroz susceptible to a devastating big boot from Legend, handing the Meta-Four the win.
Seth Rollins def. Bron Breakker - World Heavyweight Championship Match
“The Visionary” Seth “Freakin” Rollins made his triumphant return to NXT with the World Heavyweight Championship in tow and he walked out with the title still in his grasp by defeating the very game Bron Breakker.
Rollins felt the fury of Breakker as the former NXT Champion unleashed multiple suplexes and attacks on the champion’s injured midsection.
Breakker’s attempt at a spear went haywire as he went shoulder first into the ring post, allowing Rollins enough time to recover. Rollins followed that up by going for broke and hitting Breakker with a frog splash through the announce table.
The two Superstars continued to battle but after a pedigree, a spear, and multiple stomps, it was Rollins that walked out of NXT still the World Heavyweight Champion.
