Somehow, Shane McMahon might have made Braun Strowman even angrier at WWE Fastlane.
The Monster Among Men came out victorious against Elias, who replaced McMahon.
McMahon suffered an apparent knee injury while warming up earlier in the day, and with Elias later approaching him and advocating for a spot at WrestleMania, Shane hatched an escape plan.
Elias unwittingly became Strowman’s opponent in place of McMahon and paid a dear price for it. While Jaxson Ryker tried to occupy Strowman’s attention at several junctures, it did little to slow down The Monster Among Men, who completely dominated Elias and pinned him following a massive Running Powerslam.
