Big E took care of business against Apollo Crews at WWE Fastlane, but his issues with Crews appear to be anything but over.
The champion came out of the gates hot, dominating Crews and clearly fed up with his opponent’s vicious attacks in recent weeks. Big E crushed Crews with repeated splashes on the apron, with the challenger finally created an opening with a low dropkick.
But Big E outmaneuvered Crews, catching him off-guard with a roll-up for a win out of nowhere.
Crews lividly attacked Big E after the bell, battering him with repeated smacks and slams before standing with his boot defiantly pressed to the champion’s face.
