Mansoor & Ashante “Thee” Adonis def. Chase Parker & Samir Singh
After “Bolly-Rise” came up short in their first outing last week against Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari, Ever-Rise and The Bollywood Boyz decided to make some substitutions this week, tabbing Chase Parker and Samir Singh for a tag team bout after going with Matt Martel and Sunil Singh seven days prior.
The lineup changed, but the result remained the same against Mansoor and Ashante “Thee” Adonis, as Adonis tattooed Samir with the Long Kiss Goodnight – a pinpoint superkick to the chin – to score the victory.
“Bolly-Rise” showed some flashes of promise, annihilating Mansoor with the “Bolly-Rise” Blast, but Adonis interrupted the count in the nick of time. Moments later, Mansoor dove through the ropes to take out Parker, teeing up Adonis to finish.
Meanwhile, Mansoor remained undefeated in singles action and tag team competition on 205 Live, and he and Adonis took time to gloat after the match by mocking the signature dance of The Bollywood Boyz.
Jake Atlas def. Tony Nese
The conclusion of last week’s 205 Live left the WWE Universe aghast, as Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari launched an unprovoked assault on Jake Atlas and August Grey following Grey’s narrow victory over Atlas in a jaw-dropping bout.
And after suffering a close loss and being beaten to a pulp last week, Atlas was champing at the bit to finally get a piece of The Premier Athlete, who initially went to the ring by his lonesome before being joined by Daivari just prior to the opening bell.
Naturally, it was only a matter of time before Daivari Dinero got involved, and after sharing his unfiltered opinions at the announce table, he attempted to tip the scales by tossing his gold chain into the ring to Nese and distracting the official.
But Atlas apparently had some unsolicited backup, as August Grey sprinted to ringside and got into a brief tug of war for the chain with Nese, allowing Atlas to roll up his unsuspecting foe for the 1-2-3!
