Asher Hale def. Tony Nese via submission

After a 14-year journey, Asher Hale is making the most of finally accomplishing his goal of making it to WWE, as evidenced by his jaw-dropping submission win against former Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese.

The Premier Athlete made sure to taunt the rookie every time he got the chance, and he seemed to be closing in on a victory when he clobbered the tattoo-laden competitor with a savage reverse elbow and a stiff kick to the face.

Hale, however, got the better of a back-and-forth exchange of strikes, blasted Nese with a kick to the head and forced him to tap out to the Captain’s Hook.

Ari Sterling def. Ariya Daivari

It was a rough night for the self-proclaimed 205 Live OGs, as Ariya Daivari suffered the same fate as his partner Nese, coming up short against another newcomer, Ari Sterling.

Perhaps in an attempt to ground the highflyer, The Persian Lion claimed the early upper hand by viciously attacking Sterling’s left knee and throwing him face-first into the ringside plexiglass.

Though his knee occasionally slowed his attack, Sterling landed his first big blow with a top-rope hurricanrana and earned the victory by sailing through the air and connecting with Spiral Tap.
