ATLANTA — Survivor Series 2015 and the 25th anniversary celebration of The Undertaker kicked off inside the Philips Arena in top form with a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match — and the return of Goldust. The mystery partner of Neville, Titus O’Neil and The Dudley Boyz, The Bizarre One led his squad in serving defeat to The Miz, Stardust, Bo Dallas and The Ascension during the live Survivor Series Kickoff.
Goldust’s shocking reemergence almost immediately led to a staredown with his brother, Stardust. There was certainly no love lost between the siblings as they exchanged vicious blows until The Prince of Dark Matter was forced from the ring, tagging in Viktor of The Ascension. Unfortunately for Stardust’s cosmic henchman, Goldust quickly powerslammed Viktor and picked up the first elimination.

Konnor attempted to avenge his partner’s fall, but Goldust’s squad showed their unity and maintained a strong advantage against their opponents. Although Neville took out Stardust, Bo Dallas and The Miz with a jaw-dropping maneuver to the outside, Konnor was able to mount a brief offense on his opponents until Bubba Ray Dudley regained his composure and managed to eliminate Konnor.
Their numbers dwindling, Stardust, The Miz and Bo Dallas implemented a new strategy of quick tags — some without their partners being aware — in order to regain control of the match. The strategy worked to a degree, as Miz tagged himself in without Dallas knowing it, then executed his patented Skull-Crushing Finale to eliminate Neville. However, The Miz’s ego got the best of him as he gloated about over his quick triumph to The Dudleys and Titus O’Neil, briefly forgetting about Goldust. The Bizarre One slipped into the ring and slyly rolled up The Awesome One to earn his second elimination.
After losing another team member, Stardust and Bo enjoyed a short-lived advantage, dismantling Goldust before he managed to tag in O’Neil. Fresh and rested after competing much earlier in the match, O’Neil ran through his opponents, showing off his incredible strength. Working together with his remaining teammates, the big man took complete control of the match and eliminated Bo Dallas.
Outmatched and outnumbered, Stardust was ready to call it quits before being cut off by O’Neil and Goldust. After being chased back into the ring by his brother, The Cosmic One was met by the Dudleys, who leveled Stardust with a match-ending 3D in the middle of the ring.
Goldust returned to WWE victorious and kicked off Survivor Series 2015 in true WWE fashion: You never know what to expect!
