The Scottish Warrior picked up a major victory over Sami Zayn to kick off the action at the first Saturday Night’s Main Event in 16 years.

Zayn immediately brought the fight to Drew McIntyre, flustering the former WWE Champion, who responded by tossing The Honorary Uce onto the announce table in spectacularly brutal fashion.

McIntyre went for White Noise, but Zayn pulled off a remarkable counter and hit a sunset flip powerbomb that nearly won the match.

The Scottish Warrior nailed a Glasgow Kiss, but his attempt at a Claymore backfired when Zayn kicked him in the face and landed a huge Blue Thunder Bomb.

Zayn set up for a Helluva Kick, but McIntyre rolled out of the ring, leading to Zayn chasing after him. When Zayn pursued McIntyre back into the ring, however, he was cracked with a Claymore that sealed the win for McIntyre.

The Women’s World Championship remains with Liv Morgan despite a valiant effort from No. 1 Contender IYO SKY.

SKY’s quickness was evident as she ran circles around the champion, culminating in a huge moonsault to the outside that delighted the raucous New York crowd.

The challenger’s strikes became increasingly brutal, at one point bloodying the nose of Morgan, but it didn’t deter the champion.

The Genius of the Sky was rolling, but her attempt at an Over the Moonsault was countered, allowing Morgan to hit Oblivion and retain her title.

After the match, Rhea Ripley appeared in the entranceway and engaged in an epic staredown with her archrival, who held her championship above her head while being backed by Raquel Rodriguez.

Gunther is still the World Heavyweight Champion after an incredible Triple Threat Match against Damian Priest and Finn Bálor.

The former World Heavyweight Champion Priest was a man on a mission in the early goings, clearing the ring and dropping the titleholder with a huge swanton to the outside.

The action became frenetic inside the ring with Gunther locking in a Sleeper on Priest, who rallied and hit a South of Heaven Chokeslam and a Razor’s Edge, only for Bálor to nearly steal the title after a Coup de Grace.

Priest and Bálor continued to exchange blows, but The Ring General picked his spot as he tossed Priest into the steel steps and hit a ring-shaking Powerbomb on Bálor to emphatically retain his title.

Chelsea Green made history by defeating Michin and becoming the first-ever Women’s United States Champion.

The two Superstars battled to a virtual stalemate until Green went for broke by attempting a dive to the outside, only to miss and hit her partner Piper Niven.

Michin hit Eat Defeat, but Green managed to put her foot on the rope, much to the amazement of the Long Island crowd.

With the WWE Universe on the edge of their seats, Niven hopped onto the apron but was promptly booted to the floor by Michin.

Seconds later, however, Green sat upon the top rope and found a way to flip over Michin and hit Unpretty-Her to win the Women’s United States Championship.

The challenger immediately capitalized on the injury, targeting it at every point.

The American Nightmare powered through the injury, channeling his father WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes by landing some innovative punches and a Bionic Elbow.

Rhodes wasn’t done with the homages as he tossed Owens onto the announce table and connected with an RKO, a move honoring his friend Randy Orton, who was sidelined thanks to a brutal attack from Owens.

The two Superstars found themselves perched on the top rope, allowing Owens to execute a fisherman buster, but the ensuing chaos knocked the official out of the ring, meaning Owens couldn’t capitalize on his Stunner.

The backup official got inadvertently knocked out as well, but Owens' plan to use a steel chair backfired as the champion countered it, hit a Cross Rhodes onto the chair and won the match.
