SmackDown Five-Point Preview: Oct. 8, 2015

Can The Viper and The Big Dog strike down fear?

It's six-man mayhem as The Big Dog teams with The Lunatic Fringe and The Viper to battle Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Braun Strowman.

At Hell in a Cell on Oct. 25, live on the award-winning WWE Network, Roman Reigns will take on the terrifying task of facing Bray Wyatt inside the Devil’s Playground. But before The Big Dog enters Hell in a Cell with The New Face of Fear, he must make it through tonight’s hellish tag team clash when he teams with Randy Orton to take on The Eater of Worlds and his black sheep, Braun Strowman. On Raw, Dean Ambrose, Reigns & Orton got the upper hand over The Wyatt Family, who will most certainly be looking for revenge on SmackDown.

Can Reigns & The Viper topple the enigmatic Wyatt & The New Face of Destruction? Or, will The Wyatt Family give the former Shield muscle and his ally a preview of what hell looks like? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on Syfy.

Can anyone silence The New Day?

After dismantling Dolph Ziggler, a fired-up Big E responds to Cena's U.S. Open Challenge and brings the fight to The Champ.

At Hell in a Cell, The Dudley Boyz will attempt to take the WWE Tag Team Championship from The New Day. And while winning the titles from the positive Superstars has proven to be a difficult task in its own right, there may actually be a more impossible undertaking … silencing the loud trio.

Hell in a Cell: WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz preview

Each week, Xavier Woods, Big E & Kofi Kingston sing, dance and shout about how great they are and you can bet tonight will be no different when the WWE Tag Team Champions kick off Thursday’s hottest show. After walking out of Live from MSG: Lesnar vs. Big Show with their titles in tow and escaping their rivals on Raw, what will the energetic trio have to say when they address the WWE Universe in the City of Brotherly Love? Plus, will their Hell in a Cell challengers try to finish what they started Monday and rock The New Day?

Who will join forces with Charlotte & Becky Lynch?

The Queen of Harts has an opportunity for retribution against The Diva of Tomorrow on Raw.

In what is likely a calculated move by Nikki Bella ahead of her Hell in a Cell Divas Championship Match against Charlotte on Oct. 25, Team Bella has challenged Charlotte, Becky Lynch and a partner of their choosing to a Six-Diva Tag Team Match tonight on SmackDown. With the “P” in Team PCB likely an erratic and unlikely choice, the Divas Champion and her fiery friend are left searching for a third member.

Hell in a Cell: Divas Champion Charlotte vs. Nikki Bella preview

Natalya is certainly an option, considering The Queen of Harts has taken it upon herself to try to help Team PCB recover from Paige’s shocking attitude change. However, has The Diva of Tomorrow’s attacks against the veteran grappler discouraged her from joining this showdown amongst Divas Revolution mainstays? And, if so, what other Diva in the locker room is willing to fight alongside Charlotte & Becky against The Fearless Nikki, Brie Bella & Alicia Fox?

How long will it take for “Ru Ru” to put a ring on it?

Are wedding bells in Summer Rae and Rusev's future?

Rusev and Summer Rae’s romance took a surprising turn on Raw when Summer got down on one knee in the middle of the ring and proposed marriage to The Bulgarian Brute. After initially saying yes, The Super Athlete explained that he will only marry the sultry Diva after he has a championship around his waist.

Now that WWE’s most confusing couple has a clear goal in mind, what will be their next move? Will the Bulgarian Superstar and his love-struck companion look to capture a championship on SmackDown? And, if so, what title will the pair attempt to put around Rusev’s waist?

Will the King make a triumphant return to the ring?

The Man That Gravity Forgot locks up with Mr. Money in the Bank, live on Raw.

King Barrett returned with a bang (or should we say Bull Hammer) just over a week ago on Raw, laying out both Neville and Stardust. Then, this past Monday night, the British brawler’s decision to leave his guest Raw commentary position distracted The Man That Gravity Forgot, costing him his match against Sheamus.

Tonight on SmackDown, the King will step back inside the squared circle for the first time since being knocked out of action by The Prince of Dark Matter over a month ago. Will the royal Superstar be able to ground Neville’s high-flying attack? Or will the King’s time away from the throne result in ring rust?
