Lilian gives WWE.com the exclusive first look at her brand new EP cover

Lilian Garcia’s new, extended play (EP) album drops Aug. 19. Not only does the monumental release occur on the same date as the SummerSlam pay-per-view, but it also falls on the SmackDown ring announcer’s birthday.

And what better birthday present could she offer the WWE Universe than the six track follow-up to her 2007 premiere album, "Quiero Vivir." In contrast to her first release, “My Time" will be primarily English based, with five of the songs being produced by Grammy-Nominated Producer Oh, Hush! and one by Grammy-Award winners George Noriega and Tim Mitchell.

“It’s really exciting for me to be back with the WWE Universe,” Lilian remarked. “They have always embraced me musically, whether with the honor of singing ‘America the Beautiful’ or integrating the next big step in my music career.”

In that vein, Lilian opted to give WWE.com the exclusive first look at the cover of her upcoming EP. The cover looks to fuse a rock feel with glam, two things that she is all about. Its title “My Time” — and subsequently one of the tracks — is meant to reflect the important place Lilian finds herself in right now, as she strives to succeed in both her WWE career and her musical endeavors.

Among the tracks will be a remake of Coldplay’s “Fix You,” which she first played live with her band and is now getting a chance to bring to a larger audience.

While a ballad with her and old flame Big Daddy V may not be in the cards anytime soon, word about Lilian’s latest triumph has got the WWE Universe all abuzz. Pick up your copy Aug. 19.
