Chris Jericho def. Jack Swagger

Days after symbolically torching his partnership with AJ Styles on SmackDown, Chris Jericho turned his attention to WWE Roadblock and the threat of Jack Swagger, the same Superstar who dethroned Y2J for the World Heavyweight Title six years ago. Jericho initially received a warm reception from his fellow countrymen inside Ricoh Coliseum, only to instantly shred the goodwill by making derogatory remarks toward not only Toronto and Ontario, but also all of Canada.

Swagger unleashed on Jericho early on, causing Y2J to escape the ring and lead The All-American American on a foot chase. Once back in the squared circle, Jericho controlled the pace, chopping and forearming Swagger before hitting him with a mean dropkick.

The native of Perry, Okla., rebounded with a pair of clotheslines and the Swagger Bomb, and he continually threated to put on the Patriot Lock, eventually cinching it in. The veteran prowess of Jericho was too much, though, and after he ran Swagger head-first into the turnbuckle, Y2J spun the 275-pounder over and into the Walls of Jericho for a submission victory.
