The night after WrestleMania 32, Shane McMahon – in charge of Raw for the evening – pit AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens in a Fatal 4-Way Match to determine a No. 1 contender to Roman Reigns' WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Though Owens attacked Zayn before the match, preventing his former best friend-turned-bitter from competing, Lillian Garcia announced before the contest began it would continue as a Fatal 4-Way, which then signaled the return of Cesaro.
The Swiss Superman has been out action since late last year, and the raucous WWE Universe in Dallas welcomed his return with open arms. However, fans weren't the only ones excited to see Cesaro; a number of WWE Superstars took to Twitter and reacted to the surprise return.
#RAW @WWECesaro is the man! Welcome back! Go get em, brother! #HookerAndShooter #Fatal4Way
