Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe battle for the right to challenge Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam

Despite losing to Braun Strowman in WWE Great Balls of Fire’s hellacious Ambulance Match, Roman Reigns certainly walked out of the pay-per-view event looking like a winner after dismantling The Monster Among Men in a metal-twisting wreck after the match. Having taken Strowman out of action for the foreseeable future, The Big Dog remains set on defeating Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and capturing his first Universal Championship.

Unfortunately for Reigns, Samoa Joe isn’t finished with The Beast Incarnate just yet and feels he’s owed another opportunity at Team Red’s most prestigious prize. As tensions rose on Monday night between Reigns and Joe, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle set the stage for a one-on-one clash between The Big Dog and The Samoan Submission Machine, with the winner going on to face Lesnar for the Universal Title at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

With a SummerSlam opportunity on the line, can Reigns earn his first victory over the sadistic Samoa Joe, or will the Coquina Clutch keep him from a high-stakes encounter with The Beast? Don’t miss Reigns vs. Joe next week on Raw, live at 8/7 C on USA Network.
